“Every year school-age wrestlers seek to improve their abilities and give themselves an advantage over other wrestlers by attending an intensive training camp, and I think this will prove to be one of the best,” said former Upper Iowa wrestler Steve Farrell. Farrell, the newly appointed varsity wrestling coach at Northeast High School in Goose Lake and sponsor of “DC Elite Wrestling Camp” continued, “We’re bringing in some of the finest coaches in the state and considering Iowa’s national prominence in wrestling on every level that’s saying something.”
The camp will take place over the course of three days at Northeast High School on July 28-30, and will feature Coe College wrestling coach Dustin Coufal, Simpson College wrestling coach Clint Manny, three time All-American, University of Northern Iowa wrestler Cruse Aarhus, and Coe three time All-American, Nation Champton Tyler Burke.
